Kazakhstan introduced new rules for keeping records of players’ bets that they place with sports betting and sweepstakes operators. According to Zakon.kz, the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan developed new rules for receiving, accounting and storing information about the rates of each bettor (including electronic ones), odds, winnings and payments. The rules oblige bookmakers and sweepstakes operators to accept bets from players only using the Betting Center.
Anton Kuchukhidze, head of the Ukrainian Gaming Council, spoke out on the topic of how critics of the legalized gambling business claimed its representatives were underpaying their taxes. However, he noted that the key problem is the incompleteness of the appropriate reforms.
Playtech, a leader in the gambling and financial transactions market, announced that it has joined the United Lottery for Integrity in Sports (ULIS) as an associate member. The company’s membership has been approved by the ULIS Executive Committee. Playtech is also an associate member of the World Lottery Association (WLA), the European Lotteries (EL) and the Corporación Iberoamericana de Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (CIBELAE).

Setanta Sports partnered with the Dutch multinational brewing giant Heineken. Setanta Sports is the official broadcaster of Serie A, a professional league competition for football clubs at the top of the Italian football league system. Thanks to this agreement, Heineken will become the main broadcasting partner of Series A in Georgia.
FAVBET appeals to the Ukrainian media not to spread false information about the operator getting into the list of companies sanctioned by the Ukrainian National Security Council. FAVBET is not on the sanctions list as it operates exclusively in Ukraine and a number of EU countries, including Croatia, Romania, and Malta.
Parimatch, the benchmark in the global betting market, signed a sponsorship deal with the Stock Car Pro Series, a touring car racing series based in Brazil. As part of the deal, a Cypriot betting company with Ukrainian heritage will start operations in Brazilian motorsport. Stock Car Pro and Parimatch have signed a two-year agreement with the latter already offering odds for the 2023 racing tournament. The 2023 Stock Car Pro Series kicked off on April 2 at the Ayrton Senna International Circuit in Goiania.
FIFA launched an open beta for World Cup AI League, a mobile video game. This is the first title by the organization since it split from publisher EA Sports last year. AI League is not a simulation in the style of the best-selling FIFA series but is instead a ‘four-on-four’ casual soccer game played between AI-controlled characters. Players act as coaches, setting tactics and training players, and intervening during specific moments within matches. The game uses last year’s Qatar 2022 Fifa World Cup branding and is currently available for Android, the iOS version will be launched soon. The new game was developed by Altered State Machine, a Web3 AI company.
EA Sports announced EA Sports FC, a successor to the 30-year FIFA franchise. The publisher presented a new game logo and spoke about its partnerships with clubs in Europe, South and North America, as well as with the leading national leagues. According to the publisher, EA Sports FC will feature over 19,000 real-life stars thanks to a group license with FIFPRO. The game will include an additional 700 teams and 30 leagues, as well as over 300 global football partners, including women’s professional leagues and teams.
SOFTSWISS, an iGaming solutions provider, announced improvements to their CMS (content management system) functionality of its sports betting platform. The SOFTSWISS Sportsbook team updated their content management system to enable customers to quickly and easily install and modify all types of content on their sites.
Entain, the UK’s leading interactive entertainment corporation, agreed to pay up to £120m to acquire all outstanding shares of 365scores, a digital sports scores and information business. Customers will have access to a wider selection of interactive content through a combination of 365scores’ expertise in sports media content and Entain’s global reach. Entain noted that 365scores has over 15 million active users worldwide and is one of the top five score analysis apps worldwide according to Data.ai.

Covering sports events in the right language is one of the most important elements for STATSCORE partners who strive to provide the best experience for their users. With a thriving sports culture and a large number of passionate sports fans, the addition of the Bulgarian language to the STATSCORE service is expected to benefit Bulgarian-speaking sports businesses, bookmakers, media and sports fans.
Digitain, a leading provider of betting and casino platforms for the iGaming industry, confirmed the appointment of Grigor Asoyan as the Deputy CEO of Technology. Previously, Grigor was a technical director and had been working in the company in a senior technical position for 10 years.
Wazdan continued its commercial expansion by partnering with INBET in the Bulgarian market. Players will gain access to a batch of games like Larry the Leprechaun, Choco Reels, 9 Lions, and Great Book of Magic Deluxe. Over the next few months, these will be followed by further integration, including the likes of Power of Gods: Egypt, Dwarfs Fortune, 9 Coins, and Magic Spins.
REEVO, a B2B content aggregation platform, joined forces with an innovative gaming provider Wazdan thus adding another best-in-class provider to its list of partners. Wazdan will offer over 150 games on the REEVO platform including: Power of Sun™: Svarog, Hot Slot™: 777 Stars and Hot Slot™: 777 Rubies. This will allow them to reach a wide range of REEVO partners and give them access to an even wider content portfolio.
Endorphina joined forces with Sportbet, one of the most famous sports betting platforms in Italy. This partnership is an important milestone for both companies. It aims to improve the gaming experience of Sportbet players by providing access to high quality Endorphina games.
